UK employers are the most optimistic about hiring for eight years, according to the latest CIPD report.
The study reveals as we leave behind COVID19 restrictions, all sectors are experiencing a massive recovery of jobs, alongside an improvement in pay prospects.
The report, which surveyed over 1,000 employers in Britain, offers good news on pay, with pay expectations set to increase by between 1 percent to 2 percent in the next year.
Hiring intentions have increased by over 100% since the first quarter of 2021, leading to the top candidates becoming hot property in recruitment processes.
This is all in light of the fact that in the last year, over 750,000 EU citizens have left the UK, leading to serious talent shortages who speak foreign languages.
The effect of the huge optimism and this scarcity is the best multi-lingual candidates have become more valuable than ever.
And, as the June 30th deadline comes closer, marking the deadline for application to the pre-settlement scheme for EU citizens to stay in the UK, we anticipate these candidates’ stocks will only rise higher.
